Notifications Windows 10
keep In the modern digital world there is an increasing desire to be updated about what is happening in our online world. With Windows 10, the Notifications panel (Action Center) can be used to display information from a variety of sources, so that you never miss an update or a notification from one of your apps. To view your notifications:
1. Click on the Notifications button on the Taskbar. The counter denotes the number of new notifications
Don't forget:
In the Anniversary Update, the Action Center groups together notifications from specific apps, so that it is easier to view them all and also remove them using the Clear all button in the top right-hand corner.
2. New notifications appear at the top of the panel. For selecting what appears, see the next page
Hot tip:
Click on a notification to open it and view its full contents.
3. Quick action buttons appear at the bottom of the panel. Click on an item to activate or deactivate it (when a button is blue, the item is active)
Don't forget:
Notifications for certain apps also appear onscreen for a short period of time in a small banner, to alert you to the fact that there is a new notification.
